Telemedicine for Elite, Connected by Maple

With Elite’s Telemedicine, connected by Maple, students can access Canadian-licensed doctors within five minutes, anytime, anywhere, via phone, text, or secure video chat. This service provides fast, non-emergency care, including prescriptions, diagnostic guidance, x-rays, and mental health support, helping students stay healthy without disrupting their education.

Whether in dorms, on the road, or during travel, Elite and Maple make it easy to get the care students need, 24/7/365, in multiple languages. By reducing unnecessary hospital or clinic visits, telemedicine saves valuable time for students and traveling chaperones alike.

HOW IT WORKS

  1. Students log into their telemedicine account through Maple’s secure online portal or mobile app and request a consultation with a Canadian-licensed General Practitioner, via text, chat, or video.

  2. Within five minutes, the student is connected with a doctor who reviews their symptoms, provides a diagnosis, and advises the appropriate next steps for their non-emergency concern.

  3. After the appointment, students receive a written summary in their secure Telemedicine account, including the doctor’s notes, diagnosis, referrals, and care instructions. Any prescriptions are automatically faxed to the nearest pharmacy for easy pickup.

WHY IT MATTERS

By reducing unnecessary hospital or clinic visits, telemedicine helps students get the care they need faster, saving valuable time for both students and chaperones while keeping the entire community healthier and more connected.

Administrators also benefit from a built-in digital dashboard, offering clear insight into student health trends and highlighting where additional support or follow-up may be needed.

With telemedicine, you can help prevent minor concerns from becoming major issues, without disrupting classes, travel schedules, or day-to-day routines.
